It is the goal of the MPTT to financially support, enhance and promote theatre and the performing arts on the Monterey Peninsula and to facilitate cooperative interaction between organizations offering live theatre, music and dance to the patrons of the performing arts on the Peninsula.

The MPTT seeks to find and create opportunities for theaters, other performing arts organizations and their practitioners to succeed and to creatively promote their efforts and productions to the general public on the Peninsula.
